Podcast Host – Antonia Brickell
If Antonia Brickell were to share with you that ‘Telling your story’ is the main strapline for her business, then you’ll appreciate just how passionately she feels about the pictures you can paint with a creative and human narrative.
Antonia says, “The power of communication can be timeless, it’s just the way we interact that’s changed. Living in a digital world; building genuine, long-term relationships has become more important than ever. By staying true to ourselves, people are more likely to relate to us and the organisations we represent. Essentially, we are all our own brands and everyone is an influencer in their own way.”
Having spent most of her professional life as a radio presenter, broadcast journalist (mainly with the BBC), voice-over artist, media trainer and communications specialist, Antonia is a natural orator. She also worked at an Air Ambulance, for 10 years as Head of Communications and so fully understands how compelling an authentic story can be for reaching out to others, having created trusting connections with hundreds of patients, and supported them to share their life changing experiences of crucial emergency medical care. She also regularly delivered media training to teams of 50+ frontline senior medics, advising them on how to handle live and pre-recorded interviews.
These days, as well as telling people’s stories, together with designing, hosting and project managing bespoke podcasts for organisations; she provides strategic communications advice, media training, voice-overs and audio narration…but that’s another story!
