Crane & Staples win Best Legal Services provider at the 2022 biz4Biz Awards
Welwyn Garden City solicitors awarded best Legal Services Provider at prestigious Hertfordshire ceremony
The Summer of success continues at Crane & Staples. On Friday night, we won ‘Best Legal Services Provider’ at the 2022 Hertfordshire biz4Biz Awards. The glamorous black-tie gala was held at Tewinbury Farm Hotel and hosted by TV presenter Nicki Chapman.
Partners Sharon Montgomery, Michael Scutt and Samantha Webb attended the awards evening and had a wonderful night, networking with attendees from other renowned local businesses and enjoying a delicious three-course meal. This was the first biz4Biz ceremony since 2019. It was a great way to celebrate the achievements of Hertfordshire businesses after the challenges of the last few years.
The process involved a public vote, followed by a presentation and interview with an expert judging panel back in March. Crane & Staples topped the public vote in the Best Legal Services Provider category. The judges were also impressed with our engaging presentation.

Best Legal Services Provider Award
We won the Best Legal Services Provider Award, against some excellent firms in Hertfordshire. The full title of the award is 'Best Legal, Accountancy and Financial Services Provider'.
This award is open to accountants, bookkeepers, solicitors, lawyers, IFAs, licensed conveyancers, will writers, finance and leasing companies, mortgage brokers, insolvency practitioners and insurance brokerage services. - biz4Biz awards website
biz4Biz Charities and Covid heroes
The evening also included some special awards and recognition of important charities in the county.
The event supported the Garden House Hospice Care and The East & North Hertfordshire Hospitals’ Charity Sunshine Appeal.
Four outstanding organisations were presented with the Covid Heroes award. This recognises charities, groups and individuals who worked within the community to help each other through the challenges of the pandemic. The four Covid Heroes were Hertfordshire NHS Community Trust, Garden House Hospice Care, Stevenage Football Club Foundation and Hertfordshire Independent Living Service.
