Commercial Property
Our fantastic Commercial Property team have maintained their ranking for the second year! Both Bonnie Twiggs and Chris Brewis are recommended lawyers for 2020.
The Crane & Staples team, based in Welwyn Garden City, specialises in a range of real estate-related matters, including acting for newly-formed businesses acquiring their first commercial premises, assisting portfolio landlords with commercial lease renewals, as well as enfranchisement and portfolio refinancing. When necessary, the team works in conjunction with the dispute resolution department to offer a full service to clients. Bonnie Twiggs and Christopher Brewis head the practice.
Wills, Trusts and Probate
Our excellent Wills, Trusts and Probate team are also ranked for the first time. Head of Department David Bird is also a recommended lawyer. A special congratulations to Partner Samantha Webb, who has been recognised as a Next Generation Lawyer. This accolade is given to new Partners who are highly regarded by clients and will be essential in the firm's future.
The private client department at Crane & Staples handles a wide range of work, including preparation of wills and lasting powers of attorney, Court of Protection matters, estate administrations and technical tax issues. The practice has long-standing relationships with clients, who largely come from well-established local families. The 'excellent' David Bird heads the practice and Samantha Webb is also recommended.
Family

Based in Hertfordshire, Crane & Staples's family department is well respected for its expertise in collaborative law, private children law and mediation.
